The entire Mr Bloom range will be revealed at Glee 2014 in September.

Mr Bloom teams with The Conservation Volunteers for ‘grow your own’ kits

Bulldog Licensing has signed a deal for leading charitable organisation The Conservation Volunteers to join the licensing programme for hit CBeebies show Mr Bloom’s Nursery.

The Conservation Volunteers helps people to care for their environment and this deal will see the organisation launch a range of Mr Bloom products including ‘grow your own’ kits, toddler tools, buckets, watering cans, bird boxes and bug boxes.

The range will be revealed at Glee 2014, the UK’s leading garden trade buying event, in September.

“We are really excited to be working with Bulldog Licensing and helping to bring Mr Bloom to life," said The Conservation Volunteers’ Douglas Palarm.

"This is a great way to help the youngest children learn about the fascinating natural world around them, and how they can look after it through fun gardening activities with their families.”

Mr Bloom’s Nursery combines live action with puppetry to introduce children to the world of gardening and this new deal adds to existing agreements with Little Babas for dress up, Portico for greetings and calendars and Random House for publishing.

“This represents a really great opportunity for The Conservation Volunteers to use the astonishing popularity of Mr Bloom to get more children into gardening," added Vicky Hill of Bulldog Licensing.

"I’m sure this will combine with the huge interest in conservation and ‘grow your own ‘to make the new range a big hit at retail.”
