My Icon Story takes flight with Spirit of Concorde for 50th anniversary celebration

My Icon Story has introduced a curated collection of specially designed artworks for Spirit of Concorde as it joins the 50th anniversary celebrations for the iconic name in aviation.

Under the deal – one brokered by Start Licensing with My Icon Story’s founder Laura Lane – the range consists of five limited edition premium poster prints inspired by Concorde’s history.

It features contemporary outline icon designs of the supersonic jet, a design style that follows the My Icon Story signature handwriting, while complementing Concorde’s silhouette.

The printed artworks will be available to buy from from March 2nd, coinciding with the anniversary of Concorde’s first flight, which took place in Toulouse on March 2nd, 1969.

My Icon Story’s Lane, said: “I was 16 when Concorde retired its service, so to have the opportunity to pay tribute to this truly iconic aircraft has been so inspiring and an absolute privilege.

“Crafting a collection of special anniversary prints for Spirit of Concorde has given us a fantastic platform to diversify our product offering while embedding what My Icon Story proudly stands for; visual storytelling through icons.”

Start Licensing’s Ian Downes, added: “Having seen the development of My Icon Story from the company’s launch, I am delighted that one of the brands we represent is working with them. The Spirit of Concorde is a great tribute to an icon of design and aviation.

“My Icon Story has developed a great range of designs that help bring Spirit of Concorde alive in a fresh, original and attractive fashion. I am sure the designs will prove popular with consumers.”
