TV chef, author and presenter, Nadiya Hussein is to take part in a live Q&A at Brand Licensing Europe as part of the show’s food and beverage theme for 2018.
The TV personality will join a line up of food and drink centred must-sees, including the show’s brand new BLE Kitchen where MasterChef 2018 winner Kenny Tutt will be cooking up a storm and Guinness sommelier Ian Logan will be revealing how to pair beer with food.
Hussein, who won the Great British Bake Off in 2015 in front of 15 million viewers and whose licensing representation is Ian Downes of Start Licensing, will be interviewed live in the Brands & Lifestyle Theatre from 10.30am to 11.15am on Tuesday, October 9th.
“This is a real coup for BLE,” said brand director Anna Knight, “Nadiya has become a huge broadcasting sensation in her own right since Great British Bake Off and is somewhat of a national treasure in the making. Her journey sinc winning GBBO, including a move into licensing, will be fascinating for our visitors to hear – we’re thrilled to have her on board.”
This will be the first year of the BLE Kitchen and to celebrate, global content creator, producer and distributor Endemol Shine Group will host two session in the Kitchen on Wednesday, October 10th to showcase its diverse portfolio of brands, including MasterChef.
In addition to presenting live cookery demos, two of the show’s MasterChefs will host mystery box challenges with the audience, who will have a chance to win mini mystery box gifts.

Elsewhere and on Tuesday, October 9th, Diageo will host a live demo called Guinness & Food: The Perfect Pairing, with a cookery demonstration by a chef form the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin. Meanwhile, Guinness sommelier Ian Colgan will talk through the process of beer and food pairings and couple each dish with a contemporary Guinness beer variant.
In addition to all of this, BLE will also be home to some of the world’s best loved food and beverage brands, including Baileys, Captain Morgan, Johnnie Walker, TGI Fridays, Godiva, McVities, Chupa Chups, Pimms, Becks, Kelloggs, Pringles, Butterkist, Ready Steady Cook and a whole lot more.
