National Geographic and Carousel Calendars partner on new 2019 product line

The National Geographic has teamed with Carousel Calendars to produce a series of licensed products for 2019.

In a deal brokered by IMG, the partnership will see the designing and publishing of products by Carousel Calendars that showcase National Geographic’s imagery across wall calendars, slim calendars and a 365 page-a-day box.

Topics covered by the wall titles include Australia, great mountains, tigers, penguins and elephants and more, as well as the world of penguins in slim format. Meanwhile, the box is based on the popular National Geographic ‘Photo of the Day’ website feature.

Martin Rees-Davies, head of licensing, Carousel Calendars, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be working with such a prestigious brand as National Geographic. It is known the world over and the subject and quality of its imagery and archives is second to none.

“The designs look fresh, stunning and make you want to be in that location or place at that very moment. I know it will be a must for retailers and consumers for 2019 and beyond.”

Natalie Horne, senior licensing director, IMG, added: “Carousel Calendars is a perfect partner for National Geographic, sharing the brand’s drive for premium quality and insoiring design.

“With National Geographic’s unparalleled visual storytelling, we have no doubt that this diverse new range of calendars will be a huge success.”
