Online streaming service Netflix will premiere a roster of four new animated children’s shows next year.
2016 will see the platform launch new action adventures series Kulipari: An Army of Frogs and Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan and Jane as well as pre-school shows Cirque de Soleil – Luna Petunia and Puffin Rock.
Each title will launch with all of its episodes at the same time around the world.
Cirque de Soleil – Luna Petunia from Saban Brands follows the adventures of Luna, a girl who lives in our world, but plays in dreamland. The first season will launch on Netflix in autumn 2016, kickstarting a licensing programme that will include a consumer products line, interactive digital content and a potential live tour.
Both Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan and Jane and Kulipari: An Army of Frogs are scheduled for 2016.
Meanwhile, animated pre-school series Puffin Rock – narrated by the IT Crowd’s Chris O’Dowd is planned for launch on September 1st, 2015.
