Komixx Entertainment show adds broadcast partners in 12 more countries.

New deals boost Toby’s Travelling Circus

Komixx Entertainment has signed a new deal which will see its chart-topping kids’ show, Toby’s Travelling Circus, broadcast in 12 more countries, as international demand for the programme soars.

Through its show distributor, Union Media, Komixx has added Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia and Croatia to the list of countries which have bought the rights to Toby.

The addition of the extra 12 countries with licensee Chello Central Europe follows deals with networks in Finland (Yle), Israel (Hop TV), Norway (NRK); Singapore (MediaCorp) Australia (ABC TV) and Wales (S4C).

The networks have taken all 52 episodes of the stop-motion series.

Andrew Cole-Bulgin, joint CEO and head of film and TV, Komixx Entertainment, said: “The growing international success of Toby’s Travelling Circus is reinforcing our belief in the wide appeal of the characters of Toby, Momo and the rest of the circus to children everywhere. It’s immensely satisfying to see the high quality of the show reflected in the huge interest from the audience.”

Adam Selly, founder, Union Media, added: “One of the key factors in Toby’s ongoing success is in its ability to entertain grandparents, parents and kids at the same time. Markets are tight in many parts of the world but the quality of Toby means its success will only grow.”
