A new global brand management and development consortium has launched in the form of Prominent Brand + Talent.
The new firm is headed up by talent and licensing executive Daniel J. Levin, global brand strategist and talent manager Michael Catalano, business development and marketing expert Paul Flett and entertainment entrepreneur Andrew Greenberg.
Headquartered in Los Angeles and with offices opening in New York City, Minneapolis, London, Milan and Hong Kong, Prominent Brand + Talent offers a blend of services designed to build brand awareness, enhance client reputations and increase client value by connecting marketing and capital partners in innovative and lucrative ways.
“Each of us has distinct areas of expertise in brand marketing, strategic licensing, talent management and media business development,” said Catalano.
“By combining our collective knowledge, experience, relationships and resources, as well as our superior attention to detail, we are able to provide an extremely personalised and unique blend of brand services that are not available from any one entity."
The firm has teamed with Epic Rights, the full-service global merchandising, licensing and social media marketing company and Prominent will be responsible for developing and co-managing Epic Rights non-music brands.
“Prominent is uniquely qualified to expand consumer engagement for Epic Rights around the globe, building mutually beneficial associations for our clients,” said Epic Rights’ founder and CEO Dell Furano.
Daniel J. Levin founded Associated Talent Management, a full service personal management company specialising in representing expert talent, developing programmes for cable television networks and personality brand licensing, which united with Beanstalk in 2010.
Michael Catalano launched his career handling publicity for New York’s Studio 54 and has been marketing brands and launching products ever since. Catalano has also exclusively managed the career of Richard Simmons for the past 25 years.
Paul Flett is an English-born consumer marketing expert who has worked on behalf of celebrities, global entertainment franchises and leading consumer brand including Nestlé, L’Oreal, Mattel, Sega, Warner Bros., MGM Studios, Skechers and United Talent Agency. Flett is also on the board of LIMA.
Andrew Greenberg was CEO of GoodTimes Entertainment, where he transformed the existing VHS rental model to sell-through, ultimately growing and then selling the company in 2003 for over a quarter of a billion dollars. Greenberg also leads Prominent Ventures, a division of Prominent Brand + Talent, which will administer capital resources from a vast network of sources for strategic investments in the company’s clients.
Katey Gabrielson has also joined the new firm as executive vice president. Gabrielson boasts more than 20 years experience in driving intellectual property licensing, product sales and business development.
