New licensees include BBS, Fratelli Fabbri Editori, Ravensburger and Walcor.

New licensees on board for Angry Birds movie

With the upcoming release for the Angry Birds movie looming, Maurizio Distefano Licensing has revealed more licensees are jumping on board for the property.

The latest license agreements include some well known Italian companies, including BBS who will offer an Angry Birds-themed party collection that will span candles, napkins, balloons, cups, party hats and more.

Publishing house Fratelli Fabbri Editori is set to present the adventures of Angry Birds through a series of books, including sticker, puzzles and game books.

In addition, Ravensburger will design a range of new puzzles, while Walcor will design a line of chocolate products based on the new film.

Maurizio Distefano, founder and director of Maurizio Distefano Licensing, said: “The strong appeal, both of the Angry Birds game and of the witty and delightful imagery associated with it, has inspired a major film release and continues to inspire some wonderful product launches – and these new licenses are a worthy addition.”
