IMG Licensing brokers deal with JJ&C for new collection.

New National Geographic luggage line to hit retail

JJ&C is set to launch a new range of National Geographic branded luggage, following a worldwide deal brokered by IMG Licensing.

Featuring seven new models – including backpacks and trolley suitcases – the new range launches this month in stores and online.

The line will embrace some of the most spectacular images from National Geographic – from adventure sports such as extreme climbing and cliff jumping to iconic shots of wildlife in its natural habitat.

JJ&C, which is the new licensee for National Geographic-branded luggage in Europe, Asia, Africa and South and Central America, will produce the items catering to both casual and business travellers.

The Pro, Dean and Cargo lines will provide consumers with several options to suit their travel needs.

"For more than 125 years, National Geographic has been inspiring people to explore the world and now JJ&C’s great designs and superb functionality will give them the luggage needed to do just that," said Alison Middleton, SVP of brand licensing, international at the firm. "We are excited that these eye-catching pieces will be available in stores shortly and are confident that they will be very popular amongst fans of National Geographic."

Fabrice Faurie, VP of IMG Licensing, added: "The collection ties in successfully with National Geographic’s dedication to exploration as well as providing excellent solutions for the business traveller."
