New York Times bestseller Wonder moves into licensing with the #ChooseKind campaign

Random House Children’s Books is growing it licensing business with a narray of consumer products based on the New York Times Bestseller, Wonder.

Now a movie starring Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson and Jacob Tremblay, Wonder will head up Random House Children’s Books efforts to continue its mission to inspire families, educators and young readers across the US.

With over 9 million copies in print for the Wonder publishing programme, the book, written by R.J. Palacio, is seen as a source of inspiration by many across America today.

A key item in the consumer products line is the 365 day journal set, featuring quotes from the bestseller, a daily calendar and Wonder stationery line, inspirational t-shorts at Hot Topic, social expression cards from Out of Print Clothing, jewellery at 10pm online and classroom supplies from Raymond Geddes.

The Daily Wonder app is also available on iOS and provides a precept for each day of the year celebrating goodness and strength.

Based on the second book of the Wonder series, 365 Days of Wonder by R.J> Palacio, the app draws messages from popular songs, inscriptions from Egyptian tombstones, fortune cookies and words of wisdom from the likes of Anne Frank, Martin Luther King Jr, Mother Teresa and more.

Meanwhile, teachers across the US are making 2018 the Year of Wonder by certifying their classrooms as ‘kind’ with use of the Wonder Anti-Bullying Themed Resource Guides and the #ChooseKind Pledge Online.
