Nick Butterworth reads to school children for World Book Day

Q Pootle 5 author Nick Butterworth visited a primary school in London yesterday to celebrate World Book Day.

The author went to Malorees Infant School in north London to talk to the children and read from his books.

This year has already proved evenful for Q Pootle 5, with Walker Books signing a global publishing deal in January to develop a series of TV tie-in books for Q Pootle 5.

The multi-year deal will see the firm publish the series of new titles under the new multi-media imprint Walker Entertainment.

The range will include paperback and hardback picture books, board books, sticker books, colouring and activity books and gift novelty books such as pop-up, lift-the-flap and pocket library editions.

With the first titles expected to arrive a retail in autumn, the range will also consist of Q Pootle 5 e-books and audio books.
