King Features Syndicate and the Betty Boop brand owner, Fleischer Studios has teamed with Nordstrom x Nike to release the Nike x Olivia Kim capsule collection, featuring the fashion icon herself.
The apparel launch, developed exclusively for Nordstrom x Nike (NxN) boutiques, kicks off Betty Boop’s 90th anniversary celebration.
Created by Olivia Kim, VP of creative projects at Nordstrom, the Betty Boop apparel is part of the Nike x Olivia Kim No Cover collection. The designs are inspired by Olivia’s childhood love of Nike and the vibrant, creative culture during her formative years growing up in Downtown Manhattan in the ‘90s.
The exclusive apparel capsule features a bespoke iteration of Betty Boop’s iconic look. As a nod to ‘90s club flyers, Betty Boop’s wink has been adapted into the Nike swoosh, and the exclusive graphic appears on jerseys, t-shirts, sweatshirts and hats, and as a hangtag on five sneaker styles.

Betty Boop has been a muse for many fashion and beauty partners throughout the years, inspiring dress designs by ZAC Zac Posen, a signature red lipstick from M.A.C. Cosmetics, runway looks by Moschino, and most recently a full line of Betty Boop x IPSY beauty products and Glam Bags, just to name a few.
As King Features continues Betty Boop’s 90th anniversary celebration in 2020, fans can expect to see a wide array of new collaborations, product lines, and signature events.
