The Official Charts Company is expanding further into the licensing sector – appointing creative design agency Blue Kangaroo to produce a new styling guide.
The Official Chart – ran by The Official Charts Company – has been chronicling the UK’s musical tastes for over seven decades.
Blue Kangaroo has been tasked with visually developing the Official Charts consumer brand as its expands its licensed categories to apparel, stationery, games and gifting.
"We were delighted to have been offered such an open brief, which allowed us to demonstrate our creative flair and abilities," said Jason Knights, founder and MD of Blue Kangaroo. "I hope we get more briefs like this one – we love a good challenge."
Michele Ironton from the Official Charts Company added: "Blue Kangaroo instantly understood our brand and came up with some exciting designs and concepts. We’re really impressed with their creativity and attitude, and look forward to working with them to further develop the Official Charts brand."
Blue Kangaroo has previously worked with licensors including Disney, Warner Bros. and the BBC.
