One Animation names new SVP of content development and sales

Oddbods creators, One Animation has named a new SVP of content development and sales in the form of Michele Schofield.

Schofield joins the Emmy-nominated studio with a track record in the programming and production industry, underpinned by 20 years in the business.

She has held senior roles at A+E Networks and Turner Entertainment Networks, heading programme scheduling, commissioning and acquisitions for the companies’ Asia Pacific networks. During her two most recent tenures, Schofield commissioned hundreds of hours of original productions and launched the Biography, FYI, Lifetime and H2 channels for A+E Networks.

Sashim Parmanand, CEO of One Animation has welcomed Schofield to the team.

“Michele is a well repsected and tremendously talented industry professional and I am delighted to have her on board our executive team,” said Parmanand.

“Michele’s appointment allows us to significantly accelerate content development initiatives at One Animation and build a strong pipeline of content to drive future growth.

Schofield was among The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen International TV: First Class, the 20 people under the age of 35 ‘redefining the world of international television.’
