One Animation’s Oddbods moves into sleepwear and accessories in the US

One Animation has secured a slate of new licensees across accessories and sleepwear for its hit series, Oddbods.

In deals brokered by Brandgenuity, the studio has partnered with American Marketing Enterprises and Concept One Accessories as it grows its licensing portfolio in new sectors.

American Marketing Enterprises will deliver a line of sleepwear while Concept One will launch accessories, both across the US market. They join master toy partner Kids Station and apparel licensee The Bentex Group.

“We are thrilled to bring American Marketing Enterprises and Concept One on board in the US,” said Will Ochoa, international licensing director of One Animation.

“Both of these partners make fantastic products and will complement our core toy and apparel lines to create a complete Oddbods statement at retail in 2018.”

Bags, backpacks, luggage, cold weather accessories and headwear are all on the agenda under the new partnerships.

“We can’t wait to get to work on Oddbods headwear, bags and more,” said Bernie Hafif, VP licensing and acquisitions at Concept One. “Oddbods is a brand that resonates with young children, kids and tweens, presenting an enormous opportunity across age group and channels of distribution.”
