Online boost for Egmont’s Thomas & Friends Story Time series

Egmont has secured a partnership with the Annabel Karmel Kid’s Book Club to promote its Thomas & Friends Story Time series.

In March, two titles from the collection will be featured as books of the month on the site.

Flash, Bang Wallop and Race to the Rescue will be promoted via the book club’s microsite, social media channels and through its newsletter, which goes out to 227,000 subscribers.

It wil also feature in various section of the main website.

Egmont will support the Annabel Karmel Kid’s Book Club with exposure on its own website and through social media channels.

To celebrate the tie up, Egmont will also be giving away 500 Thomas Story Time books for free to be won as part of the monthly prize draw. In addition, the Book Club database will be offered ten per cent off the entire Thomas Story Time range through the publisher’s website for the month of March.

Egmont launched the Thomas Story Time series in January. It is aimed at one to three year olds and has been specially created for younger fans of the brand, with colourful pages and shorter dynamic stories. There are 20 titles in the range, each priced at £2.99.

"We share the belief the reading is fundamentally important to a child’s development and are committed to inspiring children to read."
