Outfit7 grows Talking Tom and Talking Friends licensing programmes

Following its exhibitor debut at Brand Licensing Europe last month, Outfit7 has revealed a number of new deals for its Talking Tom and Talking Friends brands.

Merchandise will arrive in the Czech and Slovakian markets next spring after back to school manufacturer Argus Spol signed up. The deal will see the characters appear on items such as exercise books, diaries, pencil cases, ring binders and backpacks among others.

Spanish firm Giromax International has taken multi-territory rights to produce stickers, trading cards and clay buddies. In addition, Simbat Toys is on board for a line of plush items in Russia, Ukraine and CIS that will see bags, bakcpacks and children’s iPads reach the market in spring 2014.

Food and dietary supplement company Sensilab has signed up for an on-pack licence to promote kids food and supplements in Slovenia. The characters will be used on several key products including immune boosting sachets and throat lollipops.

Outfit7 is also celebrating its first promotion with McDonalds, which launched on October 31st. Talking Tom and Friends-branded toys and premiums now appear in Happy Meals across Australia and New Zealand.

"We are rapidly increasing our global licensing footprint and look forward to entering into future conversations with licensing partners that share our vision and enthusiasm for the brands," said Alessandro Traverso, COO at Outfit7.
