Pacific Licensing selects Counterpoint’s License Maestro to ‘enhance its business’

Pacific Licensing Studio has chosen Counterpoint Systems’ licensing administration software, License Maestro, as the ‘key solution to enhance its growing business’.

Headquartered in Singapore with offices throughout Asia, PLS specialises in consumer products licensing, retail solutions and promotional and sponsorship opportunities for IP brands.

The company works with clients including DreamWorks Animation, Rovio and Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

“We needed a system that would minimise the time for administrative tasks, allowing us to be more productive and efficient, especially within the licensing business where there are specific requirements based on who you are working with – License Maestro is the perfect fit – we believe it will be an extremely reliable and flexible system.” said Neal Rudge, partner, Pacific Licensing.

“We know that with License Maestro, errors and data entry will be minimised and we can easily track historical data and address relevant business issues. The support and guidance we have received from Counterpoint has been great; they understand our business and the business of licensing."

Amos Biegun, global head of rights and royalties at Counterpoints’ parent company, Vistex, added: “South East Asia is a rapidly growing market and we are thrilled to have Pacific Licensing, one of the region’s leaders as our new customer.

"We’ve worked tirelessly over the last few years, fuelled by significant investment from our parent company – Vistex – to ensure that License Maestro becomes the industry leading solution. This transaction is an endorsement that our efforts have been well directed."
