Paddington plush proves a success at retail

April has seen sales of Paddington plush go from strength-to-strength, reports The Copyrights Group.

During the month, Hamleys in Regent Street showcased a window display featuring Rainbow Designs’ Paddington soft toys, a Union Jack flag and Robertson’s Marmalade jars.

The window was live for three weeks and saw an increase in sales of over 40 per cent over the activity period.

Elsewhere, Steiff is also celebrating the success of its limited edition 60cm Paddington plush, as the whole edition of 500 sold out globally in 24 hours.

Priced at £499, Steiff’s US website also sold out its entire collection in less than 45 minutes.
