Paladone named 57th fastest growing company in Britain following £14.4m in international sales in 2017

Paladone has been listed as the 57 fastest growing company in Britain for international sales, with a two-year sales growth of 68 per cent.

Last year, Paladone reached international sales figures of £14.4 million.

Published this weekend, the ninth annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest growing international sales.

2017 saw Paladone rank highly in the Small to Medium Track 100, so it’s no surprise that, with the recent growth driven by strong demand in Europe and America for its licensed and own-brand ranges, Paladone has made the listing in the larger, mid-market league table.

The league table goes some way to highlight the resilience of Britain’s mid-market exporters. Despite the uncertainty created by the ongoing Brexit negotiations, Paladone’s international sales have grown by an average of 62 per cent a year of the last two years.

Graeme Carr, Paladone’s managing director, said: “It’s been an incredibly busy two quarters for Paladone, first completing our minority investment with new partners LDC, before announcing our new eco-campaign, spearheading biodegradable plastic in the global gift trade.

“Being recognized for a second year running in the Sunday Times HSBC Track League is a testament to the hard work of the whole Paladone team.”

Amanda Murphy, head of commercial banking, HSBC UK, added: “We at HSBC UK are delighted to back The Sunday Times International Track 200 again this year.

“All the business it showcases have truly inspiring stories to tell about creativity, resilience and ambition to succeed. The 47 companies in the southeast of England are putting the region firmly on the map. They are the kinds of enterprises we are thrilled to support and that provide the backbone of our economy, today and tomorrow.”
