UK bicycle company Raleigh now has a line of merchandise available, thanks to its giftware partner Paladone.
The firm has drawn on its history for the new range which includes classic-themed mugs, bells, notebooks, lunchboxes and flasks.
The products draw on some iconic moments from Raleigh’s 127 years of cycling heritage.
The Raleigh Notebook and Drinks Flask use a classic image from the 1890s of the first world cycling champion, AA Zimmerman, who took the Raleigh name to glory in exhibitions and spring competitions in North America and Europe.
The enamel mug, two ceramic mugs and tin lunchbox take their cue from the 1950s with the ‘all-steel bicycles’ imagery.
There are also Chopper and Burner mugs which the firm is hoping will become collector’s items, just like the bikes themselves.
"Raleigh is one of the most famous bike brands in the world so I’m certain these products will have huge appeal," said Ben Hillsdon, marketing manager at Raleigh. "This is an exciting project and I’m proud to see these products featuring in the gift sections of High Street stores.
"This merchandise range is one of several projects we’re working on that bring the majestic Raleigh history back to life with fun, contemporary projects."
