Firm to launch sticker albums in Russia and Ukraine after deal with Animaccord Animation Studios.

Panini adds Masha and The Bear to portfolio

Panini Group is teaming up with Animaccord Animation Studios to launch a new collection of Masha and The Bear stories.

Launching in Russia and the Ukraine, the new sticker albums will feature the character’s lifestyle through developing games and creative activities.

The albums will also be supported with a special competition.

Masha and The Bear claims to be the first Russian animation that speaks to children all over the world. It has been dubbed into German, French, English and Spanish and has more than 100 licensees.

The worldwide licensing programme, excluding the US, is handled by Ink Brands. The recently established Animaccord USA is acting as the property’s representative across the US.

The firm will launch the Masha and The Bear licensing drive at Licensing Expo next month – marking the first time that a Russian company has exhibited at the show.
