Peaky Blinders makes play for grooming market with Murdock London

The Peaky Blinders has moved in on the grooming products market thanks to a new partnership with the UK barbers and grooming experts, Murdock London.

Through an alliance forged between Endemol Shine Group, the Peaky Blinders brand owner Caryn Mandabach Productions, and the grooming specialists, Murdock London will develop a high-end Peaky Blinders range of products.

Under the ‘Shelby Company Limited’ label, the first products, which will include shave and beard kits, and are expected to launch before the end of the year.

Murdock London is the expert barbers for modern, style-conscious men. With barbershops on London’s most iconic streets, it offers a contemporary, luxury take on the traditional London barbershop experience.

The award-winning BBC One and Netflix series Peaky Blinders is produced by official brand owner Caryn Mandabach Productions and by Endemol Shine Group’s Tiger Aspect Productions. Endemol Shine Group represent a range of global ancillary rights for Peaky Blinders which is distributed by Endemol Shine International across more than 180 countries.

Endemol has developed an extensive licensing programme for the BAFTA winning series over the last year with recent successes such as the inaugural Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival which entertained crowds Peaky Blinders fans with an immersive mix of music, theatre and fashion curated by show creator Steve Knight; and the sell-out officialPeaky Blinders book from publisher Michael O’Mara.

There are also a number of upcoming products and experiences including the launch of the A/W’19 tailored menswear capsule collection from David Beckham’s menswear label Kent & Curwen, a console game, a VR game and the continuation of products from our existing ranges.

Five series have aired on BBC and the latest series launched on Netflix in the US on October 4 and in international markets where Netflix hold premier rights.
