Chapman Entertainment continues to expand and grow its team - appointing a full time head of PR for the first time and also promoting the popular Melissa Brown (pictured) to the position of director of marketing.
Brown's promotion - she was previously head of marketing - is in recognition of her recent success at the company and the increased responsibility which comes from the growing size of the marketing team, as well as the continued international roll out of Fifi and the Flowertots and Roary the Racing Car.
She is responsible for the marketing and brand management of all Chapman's projects, with specific responsibility for retail relationships and promotions, plus marketing the brands, both in the UK and internationally.
In addition, Brown manages the in-house web, publicity and design team.
Meanwhile, Cassandra Sananes has come on board as head of PR. She will be the first full time PR for the company - the firm's publicity was previously handled by freelance PR consultant Valerie Taylor.
Sananes was most recently account director at Nelson Bostock Communications where she launched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for Playhouse Disney and worked on several high profile campaigns for Warner Home Video, including the launch of I Am Legend and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on DVD.
"Chapman's expansion is continuing at such a rate that the time has come to have a full time publicity team in-house, and we are delighted to welcome Cassandra," said Brown. "Her experience and passion will undoubtedly help us continue to become a major global player in children's television."
