The Extreme Group has hired licensing industry veteran Terry Hauss to spearhead its expansion into Asia.
Hauss has previously worked with such companies as Warner Bros Consumer Products across the Superman, Batman, The Matrix, Harry Potter, Sony Consumer Products and Iconix brands.
He is currently a director of The Licensing Management Group. At Extreme, Hauss will be appointing additional agents in key countries across the region which will handle the Extreme roll out programmes.
Extreme's full collection totals 22 companies and licences including Extreme Hotels, Extreme Freshies (café/restaurants), Extreme Drinks, Extreme Travel amd Ex Parks theme parks, plus the licensing and consumer products side. This includes Extreme Stores, clothing, footwear, sports equipment and watches.
There are already a number of major deals close to signing in Thailand, China and Malaysia, while discussions are also taking place across Australia, Korea, Japan and Hong Kong.
