FremantleMedia outlines key new appointments

FremantleMedia Kids & Family (FMK) is boosting its London-based team with the addition of two new team members.

Kirstie Brockett joins as brand manager, while Chapman Maddox is promoted from director of development to VP of development and production.

In her new role, Brockett will work across FMK’s range of pre-school shows, including Kate & Mim-Mim and Ella The Elephant, as well as the division’s classic archive, which includes properties Rainbow and Count Duckula.

Tessa Moore, SVP of global brand management, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Kirstie into the FremantleMedia Kids & Family team.

“She has an extensive background in developing a global girls pre-school brand, which will be hugely beneficial as she helps drive the continued growth of our key properties, particularly in this toy launch year for Kate & Mim-Mim.”

Meanwhile, Maddox will continue to executive produce the current series of Danger Mouse, as well as developing new titles and overseeing the production of the series.

Bob Higgins, EVP of creative and production, added: “We are delighted that Chapman has swapped the sun of LA to join the UK team in Central London to take up this exciting new role, which recognises his fantastic work on Danger Mouse and with our existing co-production partners, and allows him to have a closer working relationship with our key partners in the UK and internationally.”
