The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association is now accepting submissions for its LIMA UK Rising Stars Awards.

The winner of the award – designed to champion and encourage the youth of the industry – will be named at this year’s Young Licensing Professionals Networking Event.

The Networking event itself will be held at the Viacom International Media Networks building on Thursday, July 23rd, from 6pm until 10pm.

The Young Professionals evening will launch with a career advice discusion from a panel of licensing industry experts, followed with the naming of the 2015 UK Rising Star.

The recipient of the prestigious title will receive on-going mentoring support from Koeckler and LIMA UK’s managing director, Kelvyn Gardner.

“Recognising outstanding performance at all levels is an encouragement to all of us to strive to be the best we can be,” said Gardner.

“Industry veterans like me are inspired to see a generation reaching high standards which will surely safeguard the future of UK licensing long after we have departed the stage.

“I have greatly enjoyed my mentoring sessions with last year’ winner, Christine Thomas and look forward to meeting 2015’s equally worthy award recipient.”

Those interested in being considered for the UK Rising Star Award can self-nominate, or be submitted by their supervisor.

The nomination deadline is Friday, July 17th. For more information, click here.
