Formerly with the TV division of Reed Midem, Nadia Belhiba has been hired as FitzRoy Media's new director of international sales.
Debuting in the role at next month's Mipcom, Belhiba will be responsible for worldwide sales of the company's entire slate of new children's entertainment properties, which are available across a variety of platforms.
Headlining this will be BidZerk, a 21st century auction game show encompassing online, wireless and live action, aimed at kids aged nine to 14.
Also being introduced at Mipcom in Cannes will be Out of My Mind, a comedy aimed at tween-aged girls produced in live action and animation, plus Funny Face, which reprises the characters originally introduced via packets of a drink mix introduced by Pillsbury back in 1964.
"Nadia Belhiba is a consummate sales and marketing executive whose keen appreciation for the inner workings of the international media business and years of experience in consumer packaged goods, will provide a key component to the success of FitzRoy Media and our ambitious slate of innovative entertainment properties," said the firm's CEO Hamp Hampton.
During her three-year stint at Reed Midem, Belhiba was account manager TV, digital media and advertising in Paris. Prior to this she held sales positions at Sundari Cosmetics and Lonely Planet Publications.
