One of Spain's leading production and distribution firms specialising in youth programming, Imira Entertainment has boosted its team with the appointment of a new licensing manager.

Laura Navarro joins the company as licensing manager for Spain and Portugal, reporting to head of marketing and distribution Christophe Goldberger.

Navarro has been charged with further exploiting all rights across the company's library of animated properties including Lola & Virginia, plus third party properties such as Spellbound's Koala Brothers, Millimages' Louie, Cyber Group's Ozie Boo and Rai & Stranemani's Rat Man.

Navarro was previously sales manager at TBZ, one of Iberia's leading companies in the management of integrated merchandising programmes for national and international brands in sport, entertainment, TV and film.

"We are delighted that Laura is joining our team," offered Goldberger. "We are focused on expanding our licensing foothold in Spain and Portugal and her experience in these markets will prove invaluable."
