New sales director for KidsCo

Robert Mackenzie arrives from Webswappers to head up sales team.

Joint venture channel KidsCo has appointed a sales director as it looks to drive advertising and sponsorship revenue.

Robert Mackenzie arrives from Webswappers, where he was part of the senior management team, responsible for advertising and sponsorship revenue in the UK across the website.

During his four year tenure with the firm, Mackenzie worked with the likes of Hasbro, Mattel, Bandai, 20th Century Fox, Warner, Universal, BBC, Nickelodeon, Jetix and Disney.

KidsCo is now seeking 'appropriate' commercial partners to work with for new business opportunities.

"I am looking forward to KidsCo realising its vast potential in accruing advertising/sponsorship revenue and consolidating its position as one of the world's leading children's channels."
