Rubber Duck Entertainment has hired Laura Clunie as its new head of production and development.
Clunie (pictured) will take up the post in early December, taking over from Laura Campbell who left the company back in July.
Clunie will be charged with overseeing the whole of RDE's current production slate, working closely with the firm's international distribution and licensing and merchandising departments. She will also be developing new talent and new properties for the UK and international marketplace.
Before joining RDE, Clunie was with Chorion as a producer. Prior to this, she worked in Toronto for independent production company Punching Bag Productions responsible for a slate of 12 projects.
"Laura's wealth of experience in a wide range of areas of entertainment, as well as her strong understanding of the children's programme market, make her a worthy addition to a very talented team," said RDE boss Joan Lofts. "I am absolutely delighted that she will be joining us."
