Rizon Studios has made two major appointments has it looks to significantly staff up its new licensing division.
Gustavo Antonioni (pictured) will lead the new division as managing director. He will focus on delivering retail solutions through creative licensing and establishing a strong portfolio of brands.
Antonioni has over 20 years of experience in the licensing business, having held senior roles at firms including ITV, Warner Bros. and Marvel.
In addition, Natasha Dyson joins as vice president, having previously worked at Coolabi, Chapman Entertainment, Beanstalk and 19 Entertainment.
Since its recent launch, the division has already secured the UK and Ireland rights for the Miramax portfolio, which includes Pulp Fiction, Sin City and Kill Bill.
Rizon Studio's CEO, Dave Collins, added: "Gustavo and Natasha both have exceptional reputations, and bring unparalleled experience and gravitas to our new licensing division. The fusion of creative and retail is a new paradigm for success, but we feel it is a natural progression that will enable us to broaden the scope of our work and position Rizon Studios as the obvious choice for IP owners seeking creative solutions to retail through licensing."
