President of trade association LIMA, Charles Riotto has said that the body - and the licensing industry in general - has "incredible" momentum at the moment, and this has been underlined with the appointment of new two executives to help drive further growth.
Martin Brochstein will join LIMA as senior vice president of industry relations and information on August 18th, while Jennifer Coleman has been promoted from her current consulting role to senior vice president of marketing and new business development.
Brochstein joins the association from EPM Communications, where he had been executive editor of The Licensing Letter since 1996.
"This is an exciting time for our association and the industry - with the move of Licensing Expo to Las Vegas, approval of a new three-year strategic plan and now these significant additions to our staff - we have incredible momentum that will help us extend our reach and impact on the industry as a whole," said Riotto.
"We have a clear mandate from our board and our membership that LIMA's mission is to help our industry grow and prosper globally.
"With these resources and a number of other additions and enhancements we'll be working on over the next few months, LIMA will be at the epicenter of advocacy and primary for this ever-evolving industry and its membership."
In addition, LIMA has also hired GLA Communications as its PR agency. The firm has previously worked on trade shows including the International CES.
