Jumbo Games' app has been awarded Junior Design Awards' accolade for innovation.

Peppa Pig iPieces highly commended for best children’s app

Jumbo Games’ Peppa Pig iPieces has been awarded a highly commended accolade for best children’s app in the 2013 Junior Design Awards.

The app, voted for by parents, appealed to judges with its mix of gaming, interaction and animated characters activated on the iPad.

Peppa Pig iPieces is sold in a travel box and includes download details for the free app along with the playing pieces for the game.

The game is aimed at children aged four and above and can be played by up to four players.

Katherine Pierce, marketing manager for Jumbo Games, said: "It’s fabulous that Peppa Pig iPieces has been so well received and we have won this parental endorsed award.

"We hope it will be a popular travel companion for many families to entertain themselves during the holidays this summer."
