Amazon has acquired a range of new of kids' shows for its UK streaming platform.

Amazon Prime Instant Video UK has welcomed a range of new children’s TV shows.

Amazon has signed deals with Aardman, Hasbro Studios, DHX Media, Entertainment One, Millimages, Nelvana, Darrall Macqueen and Saban Brands to bring a range of new shows to its UK streaming platform.

New episodes of Peppa Pig, 64 Zoo Lane, Yo Gabba Gabba and In The Night Garden can be viewed on the service, as well as the likes of The Adventures of Paddington Bear, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Rolie Polie Olie.

"Ahead of the Summer holiday we’re pleased to be able to offer such a wide variety of premium children’s content to our members” said Chris Bird, director of content strategy at Amazon Instant Video EU.

“These deals allow us to give our members even more choice, complemented by unlimited streaming of some of the biggest and best shows aimed at a younger audience on over 400 devices.”

Other titles heading to the service as a result of the new deals include Digimon, Beyblade, Dennis the Menace, Mona the Vampire, Donkey Kong Country, Sonic The Hedgehog and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
