PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division has introduced the world first ever Cheetos restaurant, in the form of the Spotted Cheetah in New York City, inspired by the outrageous Cheetos recipes devised by fans and shared online.
The menu combines the crunch of Cheetos with celebrity chef Anne Burrell’s culinary talent. With her trademark spiky blonde hair and hyperactive personality, Burrell has worked some of the top restaurants in New York, including her new restaurant, Phil & Anne’s Good Time Lounge, studied culinary landscape and traditions of Italy, and authored two popular cookbooks, Cook Like A Rockstar and Own Your Kitchen.
"As a long-time Cheetos fan, I’m thrilled to join forces with a snack brand that is truly an iconic American staple," said Burrell. "I had so much fun curating this specially crafted, one-of-a-kind menu for the first Cheetos restaurant – I can’t wait to see guests’ reactions!"
The three-course menu will feature a total of eleven signature Cheetos-inspired dishes showcasing well-known Cheetos flavors – Cheesy, Flamin’ Hot, Flamin’ Hot Limón, Flamin’ Hot Chipotle Ranch, White Cheddar, Cheddar Jalapeño, and the Sweetos flavors of cinnamon sugar and caramel.
