Popular industry exec Peter Byrne has taken on the role of CEO at CPLG.
Byrne (pictured) is probably best known for his role as EVP consumer products at Hit Entertainment. During his career in licensing he has also held positions at 20th Century Fox, Sara Lee Branded Apparel and Fruit of the Loom.
Most recently, Byrne ran his own global licensing consultancy working with clients including Guinness World Records, Aardman Animations and Jazeera Children’s Channel.
Michael Donovan, CEO at DHX Media, which owns CPLG, commented: "Peter has an impressive track record in building major global brands and is going to be a great asset to CPLG and DHX Media.
