Petra’s Planet apparel on the way

Children’s entertainment property Petra’s Planet is teaming up with two online apparel partners, T-Shirt Booth and Event Merchandising.

Set to launch in June, T-Shirt Booth allows customers to personalise a T-shirt on smartphones, tablets or computers, with each T-shirt costing £9.99, with £2 of every sale going to charity.

Petra’s Planet will be supporting Elimu, a charity in Kenya that helps children and young people to go to school and college, as part of the new deal.

Natasha Dyson, MD of Blonde Sheep Licensing, said: “It’s great to be working with enthusiastic partners who support Petra’s Planet vision of empowering children to be active global citizens.”

In addition, Event Merchandising will launch the online store on petrasplanet.com, with plans to expand the range into further lines later this year.

“We’re delighted to be working with Petra’s Planet to develop a range of appealing products for children and support their goal to create a safe and enjoyable environment where children can learn and have fun,” added Jeremy Goldsmith, CEO of Event Merchandising.
