Pink Chillies secures apparel deal with Fashion UK

Pink Chillies has joined forces with Fashion UK to create a new range of elephant-based character brand apparel.

With designs to take the range to the global market, the collection will be showcased at the upcoming Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.

Pink Chillies aims to raise awareness of wildlife and wider environment issues with a range of characters, each representing an endangered species or environmental issue.

The related causes benefi from a percentage of sales profits from their affiliated elephant.

Suzanne Till, founding director of Pink Chillies, said: “This is exactly the sort of partnership we have been looking for. Teaming up with Fashion UK means our products and environmental messages will be seen by a global audience.

“This is the next step in the Pink chillies story, and all I can say is, watch this space.”

Gurdev Mattu, director of Fashion UK, added: “Fashion UK has been looking for a perfect property to fill the void in the cute girls’ market and I really believe this can become bigger than Hello Kitty and similar properties which currently monopolise shelf space.”
