Cartoon Network UK has acquired the UK and Ireland Pay TV rights for the show.

Pip Ahoy! heads to Cartoonito and RTE

Cartoon Network UK has acquired the UK and Ireland Pay TV rights to hit pre-school show Pip Ahoy! for its Cartoonito channel, while RTE has acquired Free TV rights for the Republic of Ireland.

Having enjoyed success on Channel 5’s Milkshake, Pip Ahoy! is the number one pre-school animated show in the UK for children aged four to nine years old.

A master toy deal has recently been signed with John Adams and there will be more licensing and publishing deals announced soon.

Pip Ahoy! follows the adventures of a happy go lucky young pup called Pip and his best friend Alba the kitten around the colourful seaside resort of Salty Cove.

Voice talent on the show includes Sir David Jason, Teresa Gallagher, Emma Tate and Jimmy Hibbert, while the title song is performed by singer Stacy Solomon.
