The European children’s and youth entertainment company, Planeta Junior, has appointed the Spanish designer, Maria Escoté to develop a capsule collection inspired by Pucca.
To the brief, the collaboration will aim to ‘transmit the character’s values of love and woman empowerment to millennials and young adults.’
María Escoté, whose designs has been worn by Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus among many others, has created several garments with her unique vision and the rich Pucca trend universe. The campaign is being promoted by a strong social and digital communication strategy around Europe through influencers, digital media and disruptive publicity initiatives.
The campaign is based on three key concepts: ‘Escoté Namasté’, ‘I love me’ and ‘Yes I do’.
The character Pucca has been a hit in 170 countries. This year, she returns thanks to an agreement signed by Planeta Junior, Vooz and CJ E&M. Planeta Junior is reportedly working on a ‘massive’ digital campaign using traditional and new formats to reach new targets.
