Planeta Junior is looking for toy partners for its new action series, Egyxos.
The European audio-visual production and distribution company is taking the property to Nuremberg in order to search out partners to create a collection of action figures based on the characters in the show.
Alongside securing a master toy partner, the firm is looking to convert the new animated series into a global project, including an international toy plan and other accessories – drafted to reach the market for Christmas 2014.
Egyxos follows the adventures of an ancient Egyptian civilisation lost in space and time featuring mythical creatures who belong to two opposing gangs in the fight to control the kingdom.
Among the fighting, a young Leo discovers he has the power of the Last Pharaoh, a power that will allow him to change the course of history.
The new series is aimed at children aged between eight and 12.
‘The series features exciting battles, characters with super powers and transformations,’ read a statement from Planeta Junior.
‘These are characteristics which would seem to point to Egyxos being a great success and which offers several possibilities within the toy category: action figures, bracelets with powers and other accessories, game scenarios, online games and apps.’
