Planeta Junior signs European deal for new Pumpkin Reports series

Planeta Junior has signed an agreement with production company Motion Pictures to represent its hit property Pumpkin Reports across Europe.

Under the new partnership, Planeta Junior will be responsible for managing toys, editorial, licensing and merchandising, promotions and more in Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, Turkey and Eastern Europe.

The Pumpkin Reports brand is based on the series of the same name, produced by Motion Pictures, sample and Young Jump Animation in collaboration with TVE, Televisio de Catalunya, ICEC and RAI.

The series follows the adventures of Max Green, an 11 year old pupil with a love for technology. When a giant, flaming orange ball lands on his hoe town, his life is transformed as he discovers a plot for an alien invasion.

The series is scheduled to premiere next Christmas.

“We are delighted with our first partnership with Planeta Junior,” said Tony Albert, Motion Pictures CEO and head of sales.

“It’s a very good synergy for both companies and we hope to go a long way together. This is the start of an extensive and exciting adventure.”
