Global gaming brand, Plants vs Zombies has secured two new licensees, expanding the property’s presence in apparel and greetings cards, wrap and tags.
Joining a growing list of licensees in the UK, Smith and Brooks has signed with the brand – represented across Europe by Bulldog Licensing – to produce a new line of apparel.
The Plants vs Zombies branded line of greeting cards, wrap and tags will come to the UK courtesy of Portico.
The brand’s latest partners join a growing licensing programme that includes the likes of K’Nex, Character Options, Penguin, Titan, Magic Box and Character World.
"Plants vs Zombies is rapidly becoming an iconic brand," said Bulldog MD Rob Corney.
"The imagery is instantly recognisable and with strong characterisation, cross category scalability and a huge consumer reach, tho is an ideal brand for the licensing market.
"We are already seeing strong sell-through across a number of product lines, so we are expecting these new products to perform very well at retail."
The popular franchise now enjoys two chart topping mobile games, with the original Plants vs Zombies title achieving more than 140 million downloads worldwide.
