A new range of nightwear based on the retro video game clasic Space Invaders will make its UK retail debut.
Apparel specialist Poetic Gem has taken the classic designs from Taito Corporation’s 1978 arcade game to create a men’s nightwear range, set to launch in Tesco and George at Asda.
"We are very excited about this launch" said Elliot Matthews of Poetic Gem. "Space invaders is a massive brand and the visuals are instantly recognisable so we are confident that product will perform very well at retail."
The iconic characters of Space Invaders frequently appear both in licensed projects across the globe as well as Taito’s corporate mascots.
