Pokémon launches branded wall at London’s Selfridges store

The Pokémon Company International has secured an exclusive collaboration with Selfridges to see Pokémon products displayed on its own branded wall in the retailer’s Oxford Street, London store.

The branded wall will mark the first of its kind for Pokémon and will be on display in Selfridges for three months.

The store will host a special event on August 4 to celebrate. The event will feature a photo booth, a DJ, Poké ball cake and more.

Meanwhile, the branded wall will display a range of Pokémon products including the Pokémon Trading Card Game – Europe’s favourite TCG with over 65 per cent of the UK market, stationery items and the new Wicked Cool Toys line.

In addition, Pokémon’s new collaboration with Sprayground, a trendsetting backpack and accessory company, is launching exclusively at Selfridges.

Mathieu Galante of The Pokémon Company International, said: “We are thrilled to be teaming up with Selfridges for this exciting promotion in their world-famous flagship Oxford Street store.

“As two stylish brands constantly seeking to innovate while mindful of our rich heritage, it makes a perfect fit and we are sure that customers young and old will be delighted with our standout collaboration this summer.”
