Pokémon launches pop-up boutique in Los Angeles fashion outlet JapanLA

Pokémon continues to celebrate its 20th anniversary across the globe with the launch of a pop-up Pokémon Boutique in California’s fashion retailer, JapanLA.

The limited-time boutique will feature a collection of clothing and accessories from the popular fashion label JapanLA at the JapanLA Cute Culture Shop.

The one-month pop-up will run until March 27th and will carry a variety of officially licensed Pokémon apparel, accessories, backpacks, gifts and novelties. A Pokémon tote bag will be given as a gift with every $35 purchase that includes at least one Pokémon item.

“We are thrilled to launch a fresh new Pokémon Boutique collection at JapanLA,” said Monika Salazar, director of licensing at The Pokémon Company International.

“The Pokémon fashion and accessory lines continue to grow and it couldn’t be better timing to showcase the brand’s latest offering beginning on Pokémon Day.”

The Pokémon Boutique is just one of many fan experiences offered during Pokémon’s year long 20th anniversary celebration.

The franchise continues to see success across the globe, with more than 275 million video games sold worldwide and 21.5 billion trading cards shipped to 74 countries.
