Pokémon National Championships heads to the UK

The Pokémon Video Game and Trading Card Game National Championships is heading to the UK.

Fans are expected to flock to Manchester’s EventCity this May 30th to 31st, where they will receive the Electric-type Pokémon, Pachirisu through a special distribution.

Pokémon fanatics and video gamers will recognise the special Pokémon for the role it played in helping last year’s Master Division World Champion to victory.

Pachirisu is now expected to play an active role in the 2015 Championships as the Level 50 Pokémon boasts moves such as Nuzzle, Follow Me, Super Fang and Protect.

The free to enter event will take place at Manchester’s EventCity and will determine who will go on to win Travel Awards or invitations to the 2015 Pokémon World Championships in Boston in August.

To compete, players need to bring a system from the Nintendo 3DS family and a copy of Pokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, along with their player ID.
