Poldark heads to the US with Knockout Licensing

Popular historical drama, Poldark is heading to the US and Canada, thanks to a new partnership with Knockout Licensing.

ITV Studios Global Entertainment has appointed the firm as its licensing agent for the hit series across the region.

Under the partnership, Knockout is now seeking partners across key categories including homewares, gifting, stationery and apparel. Merchandise will target the female adult market, with a secondary audience of gift buyers and men.

Poldark made its US broadcast debut on the leading drama channel PBS Masterpiece in June 2015, to a strong average of four million viewers per episode.

Knockout Licensing will now look to build on the growing popularity of the series in the market with a robust consumer products programme.
