Postman Pat makes special delivery at Character Options’ Toy Fair stand

Postman Pat arrived at Character Options’ Toy Fair stand with a special delivery this year; a golden envelope containing tickets to the premiere of the Postman Pat movie.

The iconic Greendale postman took time to make the delivery ahead of the national release of Postman Pat: The Movie on Friday, May 23rd.

Staring Ronan Keating and Steve Mangan, the film follows Pat as he comes face to face with the temptations of money, status and a new suit when he enters a national TV talent show.

To celebrate, Character Options is releasing new products including the Showbiz Pat and Stroke and Purr Jess.

Jon Diver, Character Options’ managing director, said: "It was great fun to see Postman Pat on our stand at Toy Fair and we were over the moon with his delivery of premiere tickets.

"We will use the tickets for competitions and promotions to give fans the chance to attend."

Richard Hollis, head of UK, Dreamworks Animation Consumer Products, added: "2014 is an exciting year for Postman Pat.

"After the launch of the second series of Postman Pat: special delivery service in 2013, and a heritage of over 30 years on our TV screens at home, this year sees Postman Pat on the big screen for the first time in a movie the whole family will enjoy."
